Shepard / Husky Mix • Young Male • Large • Tricolor (Brown, Black, & White)
Buddy was found by one of our volunteers running down International Blvd. We posted him on a lost and found Facebook page and quickly found out Buddy was witnessed being dumped. Buddy's a runner and used to constantly get loose and run around his neighborhood, that is why so many neighbors were able to identify him. He also jumps a 4 ft fence like there's nothing to it. So a 6 ft fence is required for him.
He's a young dog with a LOT of energy. He does love other dogs, big and small, but sometimes doesn't realize how big and rough he can be to others. He just loves everyone and wants to play! We are working on leash training with Buddy and his leash manners. He's a strong boy and when he's determined to sniff something, you will be dragged to it. He is crate trained and used to going into one to sleep at night.
Despite his energy, Buddy does love having structure. He quickly learned our routine at WARM when he came in. Despite his thick headedness at times, he does want to please and have someone show him how to be a good dog. He's smart and consistency is the key.
WARM will once again be participating in the Annual Dickens Christmas Show held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, November...
